------------ END OF NEW INFORMATION----------------
Hello! Finally the qoute and info I have gathered for the Bathroom walk in Shower! Looks like Sadie has a 3 month renter already!
The picture above is a shower I did in a porcelain grey tile for a neighbor before I moved here. Those tiles are 12x24. This shows how the shelfs would look with the metal edging. Notice how the tiles are aligned with full pieces below to make the shelfs look very neat and centered.
As Far as the quote goes, There are three price points I have set for my labor costs. The labor price points are 3,000, 4,000 and 5,000.
Each Quote includes the same 1000.00 for Demo.

This Quote is for the first discussed concept. The picture is from the ones I took from your phone for reference.
-Demo
-Install Regular Shower pan.
-Re install wallboard (Plywood, Drywall etc)
-Install Large marble styled sheets.
-Re install water fixtures
-Install non pocket corner shelfs
-Install Glass Partition
-caulk corners and partition
-re drywall any areas that need to be closed up from demo
-Drywall patchwork curing sanding re applying 3 separate Days.
-Paint new Drywall
-Clean up.
Length of job 1 work week.

This Quote is for the second discussed concept. Total labor for this would be 4,000. The picture is from the job I did before I moved. They are the 12x24 porcelain marble designed tiles. This would include a 12x24 inch shelf.
-Demo
-Install Regular Shower pan.
-Cut 2x4s to make frame for 12x24 shelf
-Install cement board
-Install 12x24 tile... This includes mixing mortor and backing the tile and the wall. This takes more time double backing but allows for really flush walls when completed.
-install metal edging around shelf and edges of shower
-grout
-Seal Grout 2 times (two separate days) I will seal other shower in your house at the same time.
-Re install water fixtures
-Install Glass Partition
-caulk partition
-re drywall any areas that need to be closed up from demo
-Drywall patchwork curing sanding re applying 3 separate Days.
-Paint new Drywall
-Clean up.
Length of job 2 work weeks.

This Quote is for the third discussed concept. Total labor for this would be 5,000. The drawing shows 24x48 vertically aligned and bottom picture Horizontally aligned. Top picture would have a 24 inch wide shelf and can be as tall as you want. in this drawing I have them stacked directly on top of each other, but they can be offset if wanted. I REALLY like the look of this setup stacked and vertical. Before sketching I was all in for the bottom picture.
As far as the bottom picture goes, what I love about this one is the long 48" shelf. We could do a full sold 48 inch piece or swith to a rock or other decorative style. This sketch is done in a traditional brick pattern.

-Any plumbing that might need to be moved has the possibility of needing a plumber. Example would be if a pipe needed to be moved. I can sweat copper pipe but do not have fittings for other methods that use specialized tools. I dont think your remodel involves anything that is going to need to be done with plumbing but there's always a risk. I have not needed one with any past remodels.
-All project timelines can change when the job starts. Either quicker or most of the time a bit longer. I dont work on other jobs until yours is done. I will work weekends if I have to catch up. In the end I want your remodel to be to the same standards I would do my own remodel.
Some days might be short days because of picking up supplies or allowing mastic, caulk, Spackle for drywall to dry correctly. I try to plan accordingly but sometimes I have to call it a day early.
If Tiling some of my days might run longer and be a little louder. On days I use the electric tile saw I start in the early afternoon instead of the morning.
From the beginging of demo untill end of the project I do use a vacuum with a filter attachment and I also enclose area with a zip up tarp. I am very clean and organized during the remodel which slows me down. In the end I feel its worth the effort and helps in creating the best end result.
-Large format tile info incase of breaks. If one Large format tile breaks 24x48, I am willing to buy up to 4 new pieces. After 4 the cost goes to you if needed. My goal is to not break any, but sometimes it does happen no matter how careful I am. Sometimes its me doing something stupid, sometimes its just a weak porcelain tile, and sometimes I dont break any!
Water proofing corner and shelfs is an option. Some home owners want it some dont. I feel it doesn't hurt to do but isn't necessary. This would be an extra charge.
-Pick up and delivery along with trips to home depot Lowes are included in all 3 qoutes.
-Qoute number one job. Home depot offers the pallet delivery of all peiices which I would suggest if you go with that qoute. I believe its 55.00 delivery charge.
-Home depot Lowes 10 percent 3 percent discounts
-I know we discussed a cast iron pan. Because of glass partition we would need to drill into cast iron and there is a possibility of spider cracks to form. I dont know if its worth the risk if this bathroom isn't going to be used often.
SUMMARY
I can come over and go over this in person and can explain ideas to you visually. If you would like to go forward with one of these qoutes, I can give you approximates on cost of all supplies tiles parition.
My schedule for November is busy with Family Things but it has time to start picking up and ordering what we would need. we can discuss a Start of install if you would like to proceed.
Thank you for waiting for me to finish up with Sadie and the floor in North Myrtle. I hope we can get everything planned for this remodel and get started soon. Just let me know at your convenience. Have a blessed day!
-Jeff
